Announcing the Retirement of Greg Kiesman

Greg Kiesman Happy Retirement

Congratulations to Greg Kiesman, Vice-Principal of the Louis Riel Arts & Technology Centre (LRATC), on announcing his retirement from the ÑÇÖÞ91ÊÓƵ (LRSD), effective June 30, 2025.

Greg completed his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Manitoba in 1990. In 1997, he pursued a Bachelor of Education at the University of Manitoba and a Business Education Diploma at Red River College.

Before joining LRSD, Greg served as Department Head of Business and Information Technology at Sisler High School in the Winnipeg School Division. In 2012, he became the Board Office Coordinator of ICT Instruction in LRSD, where he championed educational technology and supported teachers across the division. In 2022, he took on the role of Vice-Principal at LRATC, where he continued to lead with integrity and purpose.

Greg’s impact extends beyond our division. As a past president of the Manitoba Association of Educational Technology Leaders (MAETL), he played a key role in advancing the use of technology in education province-wide. He is known as a collaborative leader and trusted change agent—someone who not only embraces innovation but empowers others to lead and grow.

Greg’s retirement is well-earned, though he will be deeply missed by the LRATC community and all who had the pleasure of working alongside him throughout his distinguished career. We thank Greg for his years of service, leadership, and dedication, and we wish him all the best in this exciting new chapter.

Congratulations, Greg!
